Rewari International is the support group of a humanitarian aid project based in the town of Rewari, 80 km south-west of New Delhi in the Indian State of Haryana. This local initiative, inspired by Christian principles, was launched in 1984 by an Indian couple, Robin et Angelina Masih. The support raised in Belgium is administered BY Indians FOR Indians, regardless of creed, religion or caste. By working on a voluntary basis, we can ensure that a maximum amount of the funds received are channelled directly to those most in need.
- restore human dignity, by meeting the physical, social and spiritual needs of the population;
- care for the poor and needy in their struggle against poverty;
- promote solidarity and community development throughout the region.
Rewari International functions as a cell group of SEL Projets, a Belgian non profit organisation recognised by the Department of Development and Cooperation. The SEL is able to offer fiscal deductions for gifts of 40 € or more in one year.
